Sound recordist Igor Marlot specializes in location sound for film, VR and TV and hails from Geneva, Switzerland. Born in Quimper, France, his sound career has put him on many different continents throughout and he has picked up some valuable experience working in some of the more extreme parts of the world.
Born and raised in Mexico City, sound recordist Pamela Casasa knew that she loved sound from early on. She began her journey working on any sound job she could find before moving to Liverpool UK and completed a BA in Sound Technology followed by a Masters in Audio Production from Westminster University in London.
From Brazilian rainforests and Indian mountains to volcanos in Nicaragua, production sound mixer Kevin Bellante never fails to raise an eyebrow with his photos from the field. He grew up in Chatsworth and now hails from Los Angeles, California in the San Fernando Valley. When he's not recording sound for productions near and far, which is seldom, he enjoys camping and scuba diving (most recently at the Great Barrier Reef). That, plus he's always trying to squeeze in some Dungeons and Dragons with friends. With such a busy schedule, we're thankful that he managed to talk to us a little about his career and give us a behind the scenes perspective on some of his recent adventures.

He used a Sennheiser MKH8060 which was fitted with The Spacer Bubble mesh base to protect from wind, while keeping the natural frequency response of the mic.

We briefly caught up with Location Sound Recordist Nadir Fleishman after working on a commercial for web in Israel. The locations were mostly outdoors and he used The Windkiller to get the best out of his shotgun mic...
